He threw three interceptions, didn't fumble and was sacked one time. Kizer added 44 rushing yards on seven carries and scored one touchdown on the ground.
Analysis: Kizer was surely better than last week when he was dealing with migraines but it's hard to overlook three interceptions for the second straight week. He wasn't helped by his receivers, who had four drops in the first half alone. Kizer is only completing 52.9 percent of his passes and has three TDs with seven picks, so he's left himself plenty of room for improvement.

On his second series back, Kizer moved the Browns to the Baltimore 7 before being picked off in the end zone by Lardarius Webb.

Analysis: Kizer will start the team's third preseason game, Saturday against Tampa Bay, and coach Hue Jackson said the rookie "is certainly positioning himself well to earn the starting job heading into the regular season." It's the Notre Dame product's job to lose at this point, so grab him for your two-quarterback leagues.

Analysis: "It doesn't mean anything for the regular season," Jackson said. "This is this game. (Osweiler) will walk out first. (His playing time) could decrease. I want to see these young guys play quite a bit. That's why I'm putting (Kizer) out there second."

Kizer is battling veterans Cody Kessler and Brock Osweiler for the starting job. Kizer has been pleased with his development so far, but reiterated Wednesday that he has a lot to learn.
